Montana ABLE account program

Montana ABLE account program is heading into its third year. An ABLE account is a savings account  that supports a person with disabilities to save money without losing Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid benefits. DPHHS administers the Montana ABLE program. Qualified ABLE account expenses include, but are not limited to: education, health and wellness, housing, transportation, employment training and support, assistive technology, and more. This factsheet, Montana ABLE Accounts: Achieving a Better Life Experience (Goetting, 2018),  provides more information and is available at: http://msuextension.org/publications/FamilyFinancialManagement/mt201809HR.pdf
