Description of Table 2: Urban/Rural Turnover Rates for 3-Month Period: Full-time,
Part-time and Relief Direct Service Staff. There was a total of 14 providers. 5 were
urban and 9 were rural. For all providers, the average percent of staff who were full-time was 9%, the median was 7% and the range was 0% to 11%. For urban providers, the average percent of staff who were full-time was 17%, the median was 10%, and the range was 5% to 11%. For rural providers, the average percent of staff who were full-time was 4%, the median was 5.3% and the range was 0% to 6%. For all providers, the average percent of staff who were part-time was 19%, the median was 14% and the range was 0% to 33%. For urban providers, the average percent of staff who were part-time was 20%, the median was 19%, and the range was 13% to 33%. For rural providers, the average percent of staff who were part-time was 18%, the median was 13% and the range was 0% to 29%. For all providers, the average percent of staff who were relief staff was 35%, the median was 40% and the range was 0% to 100%. For urban providers, the average percent of staff who were relief staff was 27%, the median was 29%, and the range was 7% to 40%. For rural providers, the average percent of staff who were relief staff was 61%, the median was 33% and the range was 0% to 100%. End of description.
