Author Lisa Brennan took this photo of a Missoula, Montana, home designed for visit-ability. The yard is landscaped to rise to a small covered porch and a zero-step entrance. A ramp is unnecessary because the curving sidewalk rises gently to the door from the public sidewalk. A white fence borders one side of the home access sidewalk and the entrance is attractively framed by flowers, shrubs and vines.
