This was 39.7% of the sample. 86 people chose &#8220;arthritis&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 38.4% of the sample. 77 people chose &#8220;mental disorder&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 34.4% of the sample. 57 people chose &#8220;lung and\/or breathing problem&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 25.4% of the sample. 56 people chose &#8220;eye and\/or vision problem&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 25% of the sample. 46 people chose &#8220;fractures, bone and\/or joint injury&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 20.5% of the sample. 37 people chose &#8220;hypertension&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 16.5% of the sample. 34 people chose &#8220;diabetes&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 6.7% of the sample. 14 people chose &#8220;hearing problem&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 6.3% of the sample. 12 people chose &#8220;spinal cord injury&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 5.4% of the sample. 9 people chose &#8220;cancer&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 4% of the sample. 8 people chose &#8220;amputee&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 3.6% of the sample. 7 people chose &#8220;cerebral palsy&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 3.1% of the sample. 6 people chose &#8220;multiple sclerosis&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 2.7% of the sample. 4 people chose &#8220;muscular dystrophy&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 1.8% of the sample. 2 people chose &#8220;post polio&#8221; as their impairment type. This was 0.9% of the sample. 145 people chose &#8220;other&#8221; as their impairment type. The &#8220;other&#8221; category included a variety of medical conditions such as epilepsy and fibromyalgia. This was 64.7% of the sample. No participants chose &#8220;traumatic brain injury&#8221; as their impairment type. Individuals with cognitive impairment were not part of this study cohort. No participants chose &#8220;mental retardation&#8221; as their impairment type.
