For example, a person who is Deaf\/hard of hearing and is a survivor of cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Disability Advisors serve on statewide public health planning committees and coalitions to amplify the voices of the disability community. Their role is to make sure that accessibility is prioritized, health equity includes disability, and barriers to health are removed with inclusive solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The Montana Disability and Health Program currently supports seven active Disability Advisors on eight different coalitions or workgroups.
