These estimates provide socio-economic statistics on more than 40 topics covering every community in the nation every year. This is the first ACS 5-year release that includes statistics on disability at the neighborhood level.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2008-2012 ACS 5-year estimates are available in <a title=\"U.S. Census Bureau's American FactFinder\" href=\"http:\/\/factfinder2.census.gov\/bkmk\/navigation\/1.0\/en\/d_dataset%3AACS_12_5YR\/\">American FactFinder<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The Census Bureau also <a title=\"U.S. Census Bureau's press release on Census Explorer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.census.gov\/newsroom\/releases\/archives\/american_community_survey_acs\/cb13-215.html?intcmp=sldr2\">announced the release<\/a> of <a title=\"U.S. Census Bureau's Census Explorer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.census.gov\/censusexplorer\/\">Census Explorer, a new interactive mapping tool<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A Census Bureau <a title=\"Disability Characteristics of Income-Based Government Assistance Recipients\" href=\"http:\/\/www.census.gov\/prod\/2013pubs\/acsbr11-12.pdf\">report on Government Assistance<\/a> shows that <a title=\"Census Bureau report on governement assistance\" href=\"http:\/\/www.census.gov\/newsroom\/releases\/archives\/american_community_survey_acs\/cb13-33.html\">30% of adults who receive government assistance have a disability<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U.S. Census Bureau has released the 2008-2012 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-Year Estimates.
