Respondents rating their overall health and overall independence as Excellent, had a mean number of secondary conditions of 4.13 and 3.96, respectively. Respondents rating their overall health and overall independence as Good, had a mean number of secondary conditions of 7.61 and 7.18, respectively. Respondents rating their overall health and overall independence as Fair, had a mean number of secondary conditions of 11.90 and 10.69, respectively. Respondents rating their overall health and overall independence as Poor, had a mean number of secondary conditions of 13.94 and 14.32, respectively.
